Donna Ocampo MSN, RN

Donna OcampoDonna has been a leader in all the communities that she is involved in. She graduated from Loyola University, Chicago as the class president for three consecutive years. She received the first ever Leadership in Nursing Award from the Niehoff School of Nursing in 2002. Her leadership experience has led her to working at award-winning medical institutions in Chicago and San Francisco. Her natural ability and desire to lead has led her to found D&D Nursing Educators Inc., along with her equally ambitious and capable colleagues.

Her 10 years of extensive clinical nursing experience include Cardiovascular Intensive Care focus for Loyola University Medical and Stanford University Medical Centers. She has also worked as a Case Manager for Loyola University Health Center, Palliative Care and Hospice of North Shore, and Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Throughout her clinical experience, she has served in various unit committees focused on evidence-based practice and professional development.

For the last five years, she has been serving as a clinical and didactic faculty member for various San Francisco bay area private schools. Her most recent leadership experience has taken her to a 3-year, Director of Nursing Program position at a local, private vocational/ technical school. It was here, where she assisted in establishing a new LVN program and facilitated school achievement of receiving higher accreditation status.

She is currently teaching and managing full-time for D&D Nursing Educators as she focuses on growing her family and completing her higher education degree.

Students enjoy her ability to provide simple, and exam-focused lectures. She teaches Physiological Nursing content and exam review.

Dennis Manzanades MSN, RN CCRN

Dennis Manzanades Dennis has been a lecturer for NCLEX-RN and CGFNS Test Preparation classes in the Philippines for ten years before he migrated to the United States. He graduated with honors in Bicol University College of Nursing, Legazpi City, Philippines.  He continues to take pride in the spirit of education and learning as he teaches medical-surgical nursing theory and practice at private colleges around San Francisco Bay Area. 

His clinical experience spans 15 years in the area of Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgical Critical Care.  He has trained and worked at the Cardiothoracic ICU at UCSF Medical Center and is currently serving as a staff and charge nurse at the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Stanford University Medical Center.  He is an active member of unit-based committees and hospital-based initiatives focused on staff development and education. 

He recently completed his MSN and is now working on his MBA while he serves as the Executive Officer for DND Nursing Educators Inc. 

Students enjoy is ability to elaborate on the pathophysiology of disease processes at the level that is easy to understand.  He teaches Physiological Nursing content and exam review for the NCLEX.

Janette Villanueva-Moreno MSN, RN, CCRN

Janette Villanueva-MorenoJanette has proven leadership ability providing her with the unique skills and insights to do an outstanding job as a clinical and academia nursing educator, nursing school organization consultant, nursing curriculum development specialist, and NCLEX PN/RN review expert.
She have in-depth knowledge and clinical expertise as well as extensive experience in both clinical and academia teaching, including precepting students and new graduate nurses in critical care setting along with 15 years of clinical practice as a registered nurse providing direct patient care.
In addition, Janette have competent skills in developing mandatory education curriculum in clinical settings for both nursing and non-nursing staff as well as competent skills in preparing nursing students for the nursing licensure examination. 


She has a thorough knowledge of accreditation, regulation, and standards of nursing practice in both acute and long-term care facilities. 


Furthermore, Janette put passion and determination in conducting clinical simulation training among healthcare providers that focuses on quality initiative programs in an effort to enhance patient outcomes of care. She had the opportunity of conducting Sepsis training to improve patient outcomes using advance simulation around California as well as New Jersey under Medical Simulation Corporation, a simulation company based in Denver, Colorado. She is currently a Nursing Development Specialist at Stanford Hospitals in Clinics, managing Project TRANSFORM - a simulation-driven, patient safety program aimed at improving patient safety outcomes.

Students enjoy her ability to provide a variety of teaching styles that enable her to address individual student needs.  She teaches Physiological Nursing content and exam review.

Cecille Brizuela MSN, RN, OCN

Cecille BrizuelaCecille is currently working for Virginia Hospital Center for Radiation and Oncology department in Arlington, Virginia.  She is their Lead Nurse for Cyberknife Robotic Radiosurgery System.   Her clinical background also extends to oncology specialized units like Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC. Cecille leads her current institution in their nursing educational initiatives and mentorship program. Cecille continues to share her knowledge and expertise in both clinical and classroom settings at a national level.

She conducts test preparation classes for NCLEX-RN, CGFNS and NCLEX-PN in the Philippines and across the United States. She teaches both Physiological and Behavioral Nursing content and exam review.

Alexa Araw, RN, MAN

Alexa ArawA current neuro-trauma nurse, her clinical experience ranges from critical care to emergency room nursing.  Her twenty years of critical care nursing has been served in San Mateo County Hospital, California Pacific Medical Center, and Kaiser Permanente.  She stays actively involved in her hospital-based committees focused on falls prevention and infection control.  She is also a member of a consultation group helping transition San Mateo County Hospital to computer-based charting. 

She graduated with honors from San Juan de Dios College of Nursing, in Manila, Philippines, for her undergraduate BSN.  She completed her Masters degree at the University of the Philippines.  Her nursing test-preparation experience spans 15 years at an international scale. 

Alexa conducts lecture series for NCLEX-RN/PN and CGFNS Test preparation classes. Our students love her for her style of teaching as she keeps them always perky and attentive when she teaches Physiological Nursing content and exam review.

J'Marc T. Javelosa MSN, RNC-NIC

J'Marc T. JavelosaA certified Neonatal Intensive Care nurse dedicated to education and research, he is the Senior Clinical Manager and NICU Specialist at Somanetics Corporation. He is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International (Nursing Honor Society) and the Academy of Neonatal Nursing. His specialization in the area of infants/toddlers and maternity began with an internship at the Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford in the post-op cardiac lung unit. His extensive experience in the field continued as a transport nurse and preceptor for a Level III NICU at Medical Center Hospital, then as a staff nurse with training duties for newborn nursery nurses at Las Colinas Medical, followed by ten years as a staff nurse, mentor and instructor for Baylor University Medical Center in air/ground transport. With nearly two decades of specialized Level III NICU expertise in combination clinical and teaching facilities, he sets the standard for quality instruction and excellence in practice.

Mary Ann R. Bloyer BSN, RNC, CNM

A Certified Nurse Midwife for Kaiser Permanente in Hayward and Clinical Instructor at Chabot Community College, her experience includes 30 years of care management for the gravid client. Her exceptional qualifications stem from her work as a skilled clinician performing duties that include antepartum assessment, intrapartum care and evaluation, labor triage, the birthing process, and postpartum recovery. It is critical that a nursing professional be an effective and knowledgeable teacher and caregiver. It is of particular importance to attain this level of sensitivity for the gravid client. Ms. Bloyer’s superior knowledge and experience translate into an impeccable communication of nursing concepts and application for students at all levels.

John Allan Menez, MSN, RN-BC, CMSRN

John Allan MenezA current faculty member of University of Phoenix, both online and in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Campus; and University of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN, John is always searching for opportunities to elevate himself to the next level of professional development. His clinical experience includes long-term care and medical-surgical units. He is a published contributing author and content reviewer for three Medical-Surgical Nursing textbooks and contributor to an article focused on chronic pain management. He is a well sought-out speaker for many professional organizations in the Midwest.

He has presided as Vice-president for the International Nursing Services for WR Stone International Services, and as Nursing Instructor for Kaplan Educational Centers in the Philippines. John conducts lecture series for NCLEX-RN/PN and CGFNS Test preparation classes. He teaches Physiological Nursing content and exam review for D&D Nursing Educators Inc. John is among the first batch of Certified Pain Management Nurses (RN-BC) here in the US, and is also certified as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN).

Jerome C. David MAN, MBA, CMSRN

Jerome C. DavidJerome’s clinical experiences include Medical-Surgical units around Pennsylvania acute-care hospitals.  He can also be found working in psychiatric nursing institutions, orthopedic departments, surgery and neurology centers.  He is an active member for MSICU Education Committee.

Jade Ong Bautista MSN, RN

Jade has been serving as a Labor and Delivery staff nurse for Kaiser Permanente for the last six years.  Her passion for educations has led her to a role as Senior Preceptor for the Mother-Baby unit in Kaiser Permanente.  She extends her love for teaching by volunteering for Reading Partners, which work with children who have learning disabilities.  She is also serving as a clinical faculty for University of San Francisco’s BSN program.  

She has recently received her MSN and is looking forward to continuing with sharing her passion for nursing with new graduates.  Students her enjoy her fresh approach to teaching and her ability to share her recent experience with the NCLEX.  She teaches Maternity content review for DND Nursing Educators Inc.

Pres Lorenzo BSN, RN, CCRN, CSC

Pres LorenzoPres has spent the last decade serving as a senior level staff nurse at Stanford University Medical Center’s CVICU.  His extensive clinical experiences also include work at various San Francisco Bay Area PACU, burn, and medical ICU units.  His passion for education has led him to the role of Role-Based Practice Certified Coach for Stanford University Medical Center.  He also serves as a CCRN Ambassador and has received the Beacon Award from AACN for his efforts to encourage his colleagues at Stanford’s CVICU to acquire CCRN certification.

Allan Aldrich Ocampo BSN, RN

Allan Aldrich Ocampo BSN, RNNearing the completion of his MSN, with a focus on nursing education, Allan has over 10 years experience in the medical profession, as a medical technologist and nurse. He launched his own company, Allan Ocampo Tutorials, in Davao City, Philippines in 2007, and provided test preparation services for local and state boards.   He was previously employed as a Kaplan NCLEX Reviewer in the Philippines.  He is currently practicing as a Medical-Surgical/ Telemetry Charge RN for Kindred Hospital in Ontario, Ca. He is looking to publish his first book within the next two years.  Students enjoy his concept maps and his entertaining delivery of review content.
